Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi
Tashkent University of Information Technologies, established in 1955, specializes in training professionals in the fields of information and telecommunications technologies. The university is committed to enhancing its system for developing highly qualified experts in information and communication technologies in line with international standards. As the largest institution in Central Asia dedicated to telecommunications and information studies, and the first university of its kind in the region, Tashkent University of Information Technologies plays a leading role in the sector. Its main campus is located in Tashkent, with six regional branches, 13 faculties, and 62 departments. The university currently has 10,242 students enrolled, including 9,858 undergraduate and 384 master's students. The academic staff includes 915 professors and instructors, among them 3 academicians, 35 doctors and full professors, and 149 candidates of science and associate professors.
