Kyrgyz National University named after J.Balasagyn

Kyrgyz National University, established in 1932, is the oldest and largest institution of higher education in Kyrgyzstan. The university currently comprises 21 faculties, 75 departments, a specialized college, and a secondary school, offering educational programs in over 150 academic disciplines and scientific fields. It is home to approximately 20,000 students from various ethnic groups within the country as well as from other parts of the world. The academic staff includes 1,700 professors and instructors, among whom are 87 full professors—many of them renowned scientists and honored figures in Kyrgyzstan's education and cultural sectors. Today, Kyrgyz National University stands as a major, well-equipped center for science, education, and culture in Kyrgyzstan, grounded in state-of-the-art design and technology.
