Indonesia: Nationwide ImplementationThe Indonesia Cyber Education Institute (ICE-I, IIOE Indonesia National Centre), in collaboration with its partner universities, developed six intermediate-level competency courses and localized existing courses from the IIOE platform. All six micro-certification courses have been completed and are now available on the IIOE platform. ICE-I has initiated a nationwide implementation plan, with approximately 420 educators from seven universities participating in the training. Of these, 191 teachers have successfully completed the training and received certificates. Additionally, ICE-I is seeking recognition for the project from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology and the Ministry of Religious Affairs in Indonesia to secure government endorsement.

Nigeria: Innovation in Customized CoursesAhmadu Bello University (ABU), Nigeria IIOE National Centre, has successfully customized the intermediate-level competency module "Designing and Producing Micro-Courses." ABU is the first IIOE partner university to complete a fully localized course at all stages. The ABU team adapted the existing video course content and assessment criteria from the IIOE platform to meet local needs and conducted a one-week offline workshop followed by two weeks of practical activities. In addition, ABU collaborated with UNESCO-ICHEI to develop two additional courses: Designing and Producing Presentations and Collaborative Teaching and Research in Blended Learning Environments. Approximately 80 teachers have participated in these courses. The credentials will be endorsed and signed by the Vice-Chancellor of ABU, further enhancing the program's recognition and credibility. On the policy level, the Nigeria IIOE Nation Centre is actively working with the Higher Education Commission and HEIs in Nigeria, consolidating the Policy/Guidelines Framework for Higher Education in Nigeria in the age of AI.

Mongolia: Localisation and Course ExpansionThe Mongolian University of Science and Technology (IIOE Mongolia National Centre) has launched four intermediate-level courses with UNESCO-ICHEI, around the theme, including Fundamentals of Generative AI in Higher Education, Teaching with AI: Practical Tips and Prompts, AI in Education: A Journey Through the Future Classroom, and Co-Design Engaging Courses with Generative AI.The course covered more than 10 institutions in Mongolia, six of which are public universities, with more than 1,800 teachers enrolled. The Mongolian University of Science and Technology (MUST) provided training to key teachers on translation of the course and localisation production for wider dissemination of the IIOE course. Three of the micro-certification courses have been translated from English into Mongolian, helping to reach a wider range of local teachers. In addition, MUST has incorporated the IIOE micro-certificate courses into its teacher training system and master's degree education (Education Management and Education Study), which has enhanced the authority and recognition of the programme.
