UNESCO-ICHEI and Seewo Signed Strategic Cooperation Agreement
On May 21, 2021, the 56th China Higher Education Expo was held in Qingdao, Shandong. The International Centre for Higher Education Innovation under the auspices of UNESCO (hereafter as UNESCO-ICHEI) was invited to attend the conference. At the conference, UNESCO-ICHEI formally signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Guangzhou Shirui Electronic Technology Co., Ltd (hereafter as Seewo) . WANG Guobin, Deputy Director of UNESCO-ICHEI, along with DENG Yigang, President of Seewo, TANG Xiangzheng, Chief of the IT and Enterprise Partnership Office of UNESCO-ICHEI, and ZHANG Ling, Seewo's general manager of Multimedia Business Department attended the signing ceremony.The cooperation focuses on the ways to improve the quality of higher education in developing countries in Asia and Africa. The two parties will carry out a series of cooperation in smart classroom solutions, teachers' professional development services, teachers ICT capacity building and standards of digital transformation for universities.

At the signing ceremony, DENG Yigang, President of Seewo, expressed his expectation for the cooperation: "We hope that the two sides will seek more landing paths in the future, and Seewo looks forward to making contributions for the digital transformation of higher education in cross regional and cross-cultural cooperation."UNESCO-ICHEI will further discuss with Seewo and conduct in-depth communication on smart classroom cooperation countries, implementation plans, landing methods, etc., so as to ensure that the public welfare cooperation between the two sides will have a positive impact on Asian and African developing countries, provide blended teaching scenarios for partner universities especially during the pandemic period, and promote the stable development of higher education in developing countries.
