On April 16, 2021, Deng Yigang, President of Future Education Group of Guangzhou Shiyuan Electronic Technology Company Limited (hereinafter referred to as CVTE), along with his delegation visited the International Centre for Higher Education Innovation under the auspices of UNESCO (hereafter as UNESCO-ICHEI). Professor LI Ming, Director of UNESCO-ICHEI, and other staff discussed the possibility of future cooperation with CVTE.

The meeting was presided over by Deputy Director Wang Guobin. Firstly, Han Wei, Executive Deputy Director of the Center, warmly welcomed Seewo's arrival. Then, President Deng Yigang delivered a speech on behalf of Seewo and expressed his expectation to cooperate with UNESCO-ICHEI.Li Fan, chief of the Asia-Pacific Programme Office, along with Bi Xiaohan, head of the West-Asia and Africa Programme Office, introduced the basic situation of UNESCO-ICHEI's work in Asia-Pacific, West Asia and Africa regions in terms of coverage, partner networks, and representative projects to CVTE .Tang Xiangzheng, chief of the IT and Enterprise Partnership Office, firstly introduced the overall solution, current status of enterprise cooperation and the publicity effect of the smart classroom project. Meanwhile, he specifically introduced the two phases of the smart classroom project and emphasized the importance of smart classroom standard formulation. The relevant project outcomes were demonstrated through the use of data on smart classrooms in Pakistan and Egypt.

Finally, started with the vision and mission of UNESCO-ICHEI, Director Li Ming emphasized the positive impact of UNESCO-ICHEI's representative projects which practically meet the urgent needs of developing countries, such as smart classroom project and International Institute of Online Education (IIOE) project. By cooperating with responsible enterprises like CVTE, UNESCO-ICHEI hopes to accelerate the construction of distance learning capabilities and promote the digital transformation of higher education in developing countries.

President Deng Yigang fully affirmed UNESCO-ICHEI's work, and spoke highly of ICHEI's outstanding achievements. He expressed strong willingness to expand all-round cooperation with UNESCO-ICHEI. Finally, he also invited the staff to make a return visit to Seewo's headquarter for further cooperation discussions.
