Asian Development Bank (ADB) The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was established in December 1966. It envisions a prosperous, inclusive, resilient, and sustainable Asia and the Pacific, while sustaining its efforts to eradicate extreme poverty in the region. In December 2020, ADB launched the "Technology-enabled Innovation in Education in Southeast Asia(TIESA) " programme. Across the four countries of Cambodia, Indonesia, Philippines, and Viet Nam, the programme aims to break the mould for EdTech interventions in education systems, focusing on the impact on learning, scalability and sustainability.
