UNESCO-ICHEI attended Huawei Digital Talent Summit
At 10:00 a.m. Barcelona time on 17 May 2022, the International Centre for Higher Education Innovation under the auspices of UNESCO (UNESCO-ICHEI) was invited to attend Huawei Digital Talent Summit organized by Huawei during the 2022 World Higher Education Conference (WHEC2022).
Professor LI Ming delivered a speech, in which he mentioned that Huawei has always been an excellent partner of UNESCO-ICHEI. UNESCO-ICHEI has carried out close cooperation with Huawei in technology, online courses, research and other aspects in the process of promoting the digital transformation of higher education. Especially with the current pandemic, higher education is facing many continuous challenges. Huawei has not only provided platform technology for The International Institute of Online Education (IIOE), but has also provided us with free ICT cutting-edge certification courses, faculty training, and conducted joint research with UNESCO-ICHEI to release insights and white papers on ICT talents of many countries. The fruitful outcomes of these collaborations have contributed to global talent development and the promotion of digitally inclusive higher education. Looking ahead, UNESCO-ICHEI hopes to continue its sincere cooperation with Huawei in a variety of approaches to promote a sustainable future for higher education.
