Global Congratulations on the Fifth Anniversary of UNESCO-ICHEI

On June 8th, 2021, the Fifth Anniversary of the International Centre for Higher Education Innovation under the auspices of UNESCO (UNESCO-ICHEI), UNESCO-ICHEI launched its flagship publication "CLOUD" and the new official website, which will help build a global knowledge community. Within the UNESCO family, UNESCO Regional Offices and some Category I Institutions from all over the world have sent congratulatory remarks and wishes to UNESCO-ICHEI on this very special and joyous occasion.

UNESCO-ICHEI was jointly established by UNESCO and the Shenzhen Municipal Government of the People’s Republic of China in 2016. In the past five years, with the support of global partners, UNESCO-ICHEI has actively promoted the digital transformation of higher education through the UNESCO Shenzhen Funds-in-Trust (SFIT) Project, the "International Institute of Online Education" (IIOE), the Smart Classroom Project, and Capacity Building Seminars, etc, in order to achieve the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG4) and the long-term goals of the UNESCO "Education 2030 Action Framework".
