The inaugural issue of CLOUD was launched on June 8th, 2021, the 5th anniversary of founding the International Centre for Higher Education Innovation under the auspices of UNESCO ( hereafter UNESCO-ICHEI).

UNESCO-ICHEI and its global partners put joint efforts to the writing and promoting of CLOUD, being committed to building a global knowledge community, and becoming a producer of knowledge and a promoter of the digital transformation of higher education around the globe.

The inaugural issue consists of six sections: Stories, Us, Lift, Ideas, Digits, and Knowledge, which share partner stories, latest progress on higher education empowerment through ICT. With the joint effort and close cooperation of UNESCO-ICHEI and our partners, we look forward to sharing more practices and knowledges through CLOUD, and contributing to the global transformation of higher educaction digitalization in the near future.

Now as we conclude the 5th-year of work, UNESCO-ICHEI hopes to use CLOUD to record our partners' remarkable efforts in working towards the Sustainable Development Goal 4 and the vision of Education 2030 Framework for Action.
